OFF THE HOOK: MacLaren Art Centre’s 2010 Art Auction a Great Success!
Over 350 people attended the MacLaren’s 2010 Silent Art Auction on Friday, November 12. One hundred and forty-four artists generously contributed 193 works of art, dozens of “Great Finds” and “Lucky Finds” were donated by local businesses, and students from Georgian College’s School of Design and Visual Arts designed one-of-a-kind wine wear for the auction. The event raised over $58,000 for MacLaren programming.
