This programme is designed to foster the creativity of pre-school children. Each session will feature a hands-on activity using different materials and methods. Participants will experiment and create artworks by working in printmaking, sculpture, drawing and painting. For more information please see the Innisfil Parks and Recreation Guide.
ARTIST BIO: Meghan Thorpe explores how the individual perceives landscape. Her neutral color palette and composition evokes a sense of calmness and serenity, almost making the landscape into a still life. Thorpe’s art has been featured on the programs, “The Designer Guys”, “Devine Design” on the Home and Garden Television Network and HOUSE AND HOME Decorating Magazine. She attended the University of Thompson Rivers, BC, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2008. In 2011, Thorpe graduated from teacher’s college at Lakehead University.
