Painting Techniques & Materials

A painting programme for adults, from beginner to advanced. Regional artist Christina Luck leads participants through various explorations in painting. Use Acrylic, Gouache, Oil, Watercolour and Egg Tempera to investigate colour, texture, brushwork, glazing and more. Painting Techniques & Materials is an adaptable class, suitable for all levels of experience. Materials included.
ARTIST BIO: Christina Luck is a painter and sculptor from Cookstown, and is the principle set designer for South Simcoe Theatre. Look for her work in a 4-woman show at the MacLarenArtCentre in the summer of 2007. She has a BFA in visual arts from York University and since the early ‘80’s has shown her work at numerous public and private galleries including Leo Kamen, Prime and the MacLarenArtCentre. Her work can be found in the collections of CIBC, Four Seasons Hotels, Labatt’s, Trimark and others.
